Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live alongside your childhood heroes from Disney and Pixar? Wonder no more!
Paris-based video game publisher Gameloft has collaborated with Disney and Pixar for Disney Dreamlight Valley, an upcoming free-to-play, life-simulation video game. Think The Sims or Animal Crossing, but with Disney characters!
In the game, players create a custom avatar in the dream world of Dreamlight Valley and embark on a quest to restore a desolate village covered in Night Thorns. Find out the secrets behind your arrival in this new world and explore diverse realms inspired by classic Disney and Pixar worlds, all while helping the iconic inhabitants of the town recover their lost memories after a mysterious event called The Forgetting.
While playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will interact with and befriend fan-favorite characters from Disney and Pixar titles, such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, Moana, Toy Story, Wall-E, and more!
Players can also immerse themselves in the magical world as they design their dream Disney and Pixar villages across multiple distinct locations, from the snowy mountains of the Frosted Heights to the Peaceful Meadow and beyond. The game features a wealth of customization options for avatars, homes, and villages, such as Disney Princess-inspired ballgowns, streetwear, antique kitchen designs, and more.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is set to launch next year as a free-to-play title on PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, but dedicated Disney fans can experience the magical world as soon as this summer. To play the early access version of the game, players can purchase a Founders Pack or be an Xbox Game Pass member ahead of the game’s launch.
