Time flies when you’re in outer space.
Twenty-five years ago today, Syfy‘s first original series, Farscape, hit screens. The Emmy-nominated series created by Rockne S. O’Bannon, follows astronaut John Crichton’s adventures as he navigates a world of alien cultures aboard a starship. Now, with a passionate fanbase known as “Scapers” demanding new merch, Plastic Meatball is answering the call.
Under a new licensing pact with The Jim Henson Co., Plastic Meatball will develop an extensive range of Farscape-inspired products, including toys and collectibles, games and puzzles, apparel, housewares, limited-edition artwork, and more.
While the collection won’t begin to roll out until the end of this year, beginning today, Plastic Meatball will tantalize fans by offering a limited “timed” edition 25th Anniversary T-shirt. The special offering will be available until midnight on March 25, after which the shirt will be retired. So if you need it, grab it now!
The Jim Henson Co. previously collaborated with Plastic Meatball on products inspired by Labyrinth and Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas.
Can we call it the Henson-verse? Or is it the Meatballverse? That’s for you to decide!
