“What can you get a Wookiee for Christmas (when he already owns a comb)?” That’s the title of an actual song from 1980’s Christmas in the Stars: A Star Wars Christmas album, and though it’s pretty silly (and Wookiees celebrate Life Day, not Christmas), it does represent the type of challenge that can come with trying to find the perfect gift for a Star Wars fan. Here at The Pop Insider we’ve got some ideas, and these are just a few of them.

HOLIDAY STAR WARS POP! VINYL FIGURES | Funko | $10.99 | Entertainment Earth

If you’re gonna be festive with The Force, these Holiday Star Wars Pop! Vinyl figures are a great place to start. There’s C-3PO and R2-D2, Chewbacca, Yoda and even that Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader. A perfect stocking stuffer, be on the lookout for the ultra-limited Chase Edition Vader – complete with a glow-in-the-dark candy cane!

STAR WARS TIE FIGHTER PENDANT LAMP | Pottery Barn | $699 | PBTeen

A pendant lamp shaped like an Imperial TIE Fighter? Yes! Every home should have at least one piece of Imperial lighting, and if the $700 price tag scares you, I have seen these on sale at Pottery Barn for $499.  Designed to be hardwired, professional installation is recommended. Just be mindful of the contractors you might hire.

STAR WARS ULTIMATE CO-PILOT CHEWIE | HASBRO | $129.99 | HasbroToyShop

Technically, Hasbro says that its Ultimate Co-Pilot version of Chewbacca is for kids ages 4 and up, but let’s be honest: If you’re reading this, chances are this Chewie is for you. An extension of Hasbro’s FurReal Friends line (alongside Munchin’ Rex and Ricky the Trick Lovin’ Pup), this robotic version of the most famous Wookiee is just plain adorable.

With more than 100 different sound and motion combinations, Ultimate Co-Pilot Chewie really does feel like a true companion, and he always seems just so happy to be along for the adventure.

STAR WARS EWOK HOLIDAY SWEATER | $59.90 | Box Lunch Exclusive

I have never seen a sweater that actually says “Yub Nub, Eee Chop, Yub Nub” on it before, so I figure most people haven’t. This is a gift that many Bothans would die for a chance to wear. Perfect for celebrating Life Day.

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Multi-screen Edition | Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment | $26.95 | shopDisney

This has been such a strange year for Star Wars, and one big change is that we’re rolling into the first December in four years that doesn’t have a new movie hitting theaters. Of course, that’s because we received Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story back in May, and while the film wasn’t exactly a smash, I loved it. That said, I think it’s going to become more highly-regarded as time goes on, and the in-home release that pairs the Blu-ray with a Digital HD code makes a perfect stocking stuffer. It’s also available on Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD and DVD.

STAR WARS KEEPSAKE ORNAMENTS | $17.99 – $99.99 | Hallmark

Hallmark’s yearly Keepsake Ornaments are a tradition for millions of families, and since 1996, they’ve been producing hand-sculpted creations from a galaxy far, far away. This year there’s multiple offerings that span the Classic Trilogy, The Last Jedi and Solo. There’s even a Death Star tree topper and an embroidered tree skirt based on the epic duel from Return of the Jedi.

STAR WARS LANDO CALRISSIAN ACCENTS COLLECTION | Seven20 | $5.99 – $44.99 | ThinkGeek

In designing the Millennium Falcon as it would’ve existed under the ownership of a young Lando Calrissian, there were some cool features in the mix like a fully-stocked bar area where the charming scoundrel would’ve done some entertaining. The folks at Seven20 took inspiration from that in releasing the Lando Accents Collection, an assortment of housewares that can help present your love of Star Wars in a subtle, and dare I say—classy—kinda way.

With dishes, glasses, bottle stoppers, and more, these would be cool for entertaining during the holidays, or for gifting to that old smoothie on your list.

STAR WARS FORCE LINK 2.0 RESISTANCE A-WING FIGHTER | Hasbro | Entertainment Earth Exclusive

The recent ups-and-downs in the Star Wars universe is something that I’ve written about frequently, including some successes and missteps on the retail end of things. Following the mixed-reception to The Last Jedi, some toys that were already in the pipeline have found new homes, and one really cool addition to the fleet is this Force Link 2.0 Resistance A-Wing Fighter, recently picked up by Entertainment Earth and offered as an exclusive.

Scaled to work with classic 3.75-inch Star Wars action figures, this is a fine companion to the blue version issued last year. Includes a Resistance Pilot.

STAR WARS DARTH VADER CLAPPER | NECA | $29.99 | Amazon

Clap on! Clap off! If you don’t know the rest of the famous jingle, I’ll find your lack of pop culture knowledge disturbing. Just before Toy Fair this year, NECA made the surprise announcement that they’d acquired Joseph Enterprises Inc. and Joseph Pedott Advertising and Marketing Inc., the companies behind a pair of holiday gifting staples: Chia Pet and The Clapper.

In an age in which smart homes powered by Amazon Echo can operate all of your devices, including lights and smart plugs, it would be easy to deem The Clapper obsolete… but again, your lack of faith would be disturbing. Perhaps the ultimate in kitsch, the Darth Vader Clapper is available in both modern and “classic” packaging, perhaps a perfect white elephant gift.

STAR WARS ICONS: HAN SOLO | Insight Editions | $40 | Sideshow

In this new book from Insight Editions, the mythos of Han Solo is explored in a manner that covers the character’s entire journey, from his genesis in George Lucas’s first drafts of Star Wars to Harrison Ford’s portrayal of the rogue in the Classic Trilogy and The Force Awakens, plus Alden Ehrenreich’s take on the young pilot in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The hardcover features rare and previously-unseen imagery, including candid on-set photography and concept art. It also includes exclusive new interviews with Harrison Ford, Alden Ehrenreich, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Peter Mayhew, Ron Howard, J.J. Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan, Jonathan Kasdan, and more.

R2-D2 LIFE SIZE MONUMENT | $3,200 | Gentle Giant

So what do you get the Star Wars fan who has everything, but they’ve also been really good this year? How about a promise. Just like Kenner famously put an empty box with a mail-in certificate under Christmas trees back in 1977, you can do something similar in 2018… but it will be for a $3,200 version of the original Kenner Star Wars Collection R2-D2 action figure, blown-up to life-size by Gentle Giant.

It’ll be sorta like that scene in Ant-Man & The Wasp where they zapped the Hello Kitty Pez dispenser and made it 6 feet tall, except this is a mint-condition 3.75-inch action figure that will now be 3.5 feet tall!

I actually had a chance to see the 6-foot Stormtrooper that they made during a visit to the Walt Disney Studios lot awhile back. It was impressive, most impressive. Speaking of which, they did Vader, too.
