fortnite batman

From now through Oct. 6, Fortnite players can be the hero of Gotham City without leaving their couch, thanks to a special crossover event celebrating Batman‘s 80th anniversary.

For a limited time, Tilted Town has become Gotham City on the game’s Battle Royale map. In this POI (Point of Interest), players can fly like a real hero with unlimited Glider Redeploy.

There will also be new Batman-inspired weapons available throughout the crossover, including a Batman Grapnel Gun and Explosive Batarangs.

Comic book fans can really add some heroics to their Fortnite game by purchasing the Batman Caped Crusader pack. It comes with Batman-themed cosmetics and two Batman outfits (pictured above). There are also individual Batman items available for purchase, including a Catwoman outfit.

Through Oct. 1, there will also be special heroic Challenges. Taking on these challenges will earn players free rewards from the Welcome to Gotham City Challenge Bundle.

Check out the trailer below for a look at this super crossover.
