If you have a Nintendo Switch and are a fan of Fortnite, there is a nice little loot box coming your way.
Today is the launch of Chapter 2, Season 6 of Fortnite, so it only makes sense that there will be a lot of epic merch dropping soon, not only in the game but also IRL. For Nintendo Switch players, it’s time to squad up and drop in with the new Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Fortnite Fleet Force Bundle.
The set includes a specially designed blue left Joy-Con and a yellow right Joy-Con adorned with the face of the iconic Fortnite skin Peely the Banana — One of Peely’s eyes doubles as the home button! The bundle also offers some virtual loot: 500 V-Bucks, plus a download code for an in-game Glider and Pickaxe.
Fans can take the controllers and their Nintendo Switch system (sold separately) on the go and enjoy all the target tracking, dynamic firefights, and epic ambushes needed to win a battle royale!
This isn’t the first time that Fortnite has influenced Nintendo Switch hardware. Last Cyber Monday, Nintendo released the Fortnite Wildcat Bundle, complete with a Switch system featuring a Fortnite-themed dock and a set of yellow and blue Joy-Cons. Fans can add the Fleet Force Joy-Cons to that system for a truly epic display of fandom and gameplay.
