Rachel Green was always the most stylish of the Friends crew, with her iconic haircut and a career in fashion. She even worked at Ralph Lauren at one point, and the brand is celebrating the character and the 25th anniversary of Friends with a curated Wear-to-Work collection.
The line will feature pieces from Polo and Lauren Ralph Lauren, such as black leather trousers; plaid, suede, and leather skirts in both midi and mini lengths; and jackets in velvet, faux leopard fur, and purple shearling.
For the launch, Ralph Lauren is teaming up with Bloomingdale’s — where Rachel worked as a personal shopper — to recreate Central Perk and Rachel’s office for photo-ops. On Sept. 21 and Sept. 22, shoppers at the Bloomingdale’s 59th flagship store in New York City can enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee while lounging in a replica of Central Perk — yes, the orange couch will be there. Starting today through Sept. 27, shoppers can visit the store’s third floor to see a re-creation of Rachel’s office and a different section of Central Perk. Every two weeks, the installations will travel to a different Bloomingdale’s location, including White Plains, New York; Bergen County, New Jersey; Aventura, Florida; and the upcoming Norwalk, Connecticut, store.
