We’re on the glittering horizon of a (hopefully) relaxing weekend once more. There are only two weeks left till Christmas, college students are finishing up their finals, and Funko has released some new Pop! figures for film and cartoon fans on this glorious Funko Friday. It may not be a huge fandom merch drop, but these Pops! make perfect treat-yourself gifts or last minute stocking stuffers if you’re feeling the holiday-brain kicking in.

Opening up our Pop! Releases is a model of Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay. She’s the first woman of color to have her film, Selma, nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. DuVernays’ films capture the excellence and experiences that women of color endure through her film projects. Her numerous achievements includes being a top-grossing black female director in American box office history, as well as directing notable titles that include A Wrinkle in Time, Queen Sugar, and When They See Us. Mad respect for this successful lady! Celebrate her artistic expression and diverse, captivating films with this Pop!

“I will fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.” Celebrate our second director-actress this Friday with a Patty Jenkins Pop! She’s known for her impressive work directing Wonder Woman in 2017. This movie has since been the pinnacle of her career, with more to look forward to with Wonder Woman 1984 releasing next year. She is currently one of the highest-grossing, female film directors of all time and has directed a diverse arrangement of movies including I Am The Night, The Killing, Arrested Development, and Entourage

Jump back into the terrifying and hilarious world of Rick and Morty with new Funko keychains to bling out zippers, forgotten car keys, handbags, and maybe a Christmas tree if you’re feeling festive. There are seven keychains to choose from, including notable character such as Space Suit Rick, Space Suit Morty, Mr. Poopy Butthole, and Death Crystal Morty. There are also some sick Rick and Morty pen toppers to add some fandom fuel to your note-taking adventures.
