Normally, this is the point when I say, “Wow, what a week it has been. Here are the new Funko products to take your mind off of it.” But … *really*, wow, what a week it has been.
COVID-19 has swept into our lives rapidly and changed everything — well, almost everything. Funko is still here to take our minds off of the stressful times. This week, it introduced a WonderCon Virtual Con, a Funko family photo challenge, and Schitt’s. Creek. Funko. Pop! figures. Just wait until you see those bebes.

With a future date for WonderCon Anaheim 2020 not yet known, Funko will put on its own virtual con the weekend it was meant to happen: April 10-12. The Chesire at the Mad Tea Party and Boba Fett are just two of the eight exclusive Funko Pop! Figures that will be available at the online event.
Fans should keep checking Funko’s website for more information, but we imagine it will be a more socially distanced version of its first virtual con after the cancelation of Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC), in which fans lined up outside of Funko’s headquarters.
Funko will host a Photo-a-Day Challenge for the rest of March, with things kicking off on March 22. Fans are encouraged to share pics of their Funko families that go along with each day’s corresponding theme using #FunkoFamilyAtHome.
Funko Family at Home encourages fans of Funko to embrace their crafty side with DIY Pop!, available *online* from Michaels, and a printable Jackalope paper mask project. Fans who have reached the full level of boredom can also check out a ton of quizzes! BRB I’m going to go learn what Stranger Things-inspired ice cream I am.
The hilarious Canadian series Schitt’s Creek might be ending soon, but the Rose family can live in your hearts —and now on your desk — forever. Johnny, Alexis, Moira, and David (with chase!) are all Funko-fied and coming soon.
I personally think that Moira should have interchangeable wigs, but maybe fans can get creative with designing their own. You can practically hear the whole family bickering, and I can definitely hear David saying, “I’m trying very hard not to connect with people right now,” and I think the world can agree.
