“Just gimme the dirt!” screams Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil on “The Dirt (Est. 1981),” the title track from the soundtrack of the Netflix original film, The Dirt. The long-awaited biopic of the legendary band is streaming now — a cinematic adaptation of its 2001 collaborative autobiography, The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band. With the spotlight back on the exploits of Neil, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Nikki Sixx, it’s the perfect time to take a look at the complete set of Funko‘s Mötley Crüe Pop! vinyl figures, provided by our friends at Entertainment Earth.

Released last year as part of Funko’s growing Pop! Rocks collection, Sixx (70), Neil (71), Mars (72), and Lee (73) are presented in the classic 3.75-inch scale. For the sculpts, Funko’s designers wisely decided to focus on a very specific era in the band‘s career — the 1983 Shout at the Devil album cycle. It was during a time that the “glam” and “sleaze” of Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip was going mainstream, and Mötley Crüe evolved their pioneering style heading into their second full-length album.
There’s a real Mad Max/Road Warrior vibe at play, with leather straps and spikes, tattered cloth, and even face paint for Lee and Sixx.
Nikki’s rockin’ his B.C. Rich Warlock Bass, while Vince properly commands the mic with a clenched fist. Mick’s guitar looks inspired by the Kramers he used to play, while Tommy looks ready to attack his invisible drum kit.
With renewed interest in the band, Mötley Crüe fans should grab a set of these while they can still be found at list price. As we all know, popularity could eventually drive these into high prices on the secondary market!
