Brand-new Craniacs comic books will debut next fall with the help of Titan Comics.
Former Topps senior executive Ira Friendman and lead Garbage Pail Kids card artist Joe Simko created Craniacs trading cards in 2023. Now, the duo will expand the Craniacs world, with Simko creating the art for the new Craniacs comic book.

The writer behind the new books is Sholly Fisch, one of the brains behind Batman, Superman, and Scooby-Doo. The comics will be full of humor, action, and even a life lesson or two.Â
Fans have fully immersed themselves in the Craniacs universe, which is occupied by skull-heads. In the comics, two planets collide, resulting in two different societies: the Stone-Aged Retrovia and the futuristic Futerra.
In addition to the brand new comics, Series 2 of the trading cards will hit shelves soon, and a new animated series in collaboration with Titmouse is in the works.
