Godzilla Free-to-Play Games | Source: Toho Games

Godzilla is roaring up to take on Kong next week in theaters and on HBO Max, but he’s ready to destroy your cell phone screens today with three monstrous, new, free-to-play games for iOS and Android devices.

Toho Games, a division of Toho, released Run Godzilla worldwide — excluding Japan — today, March 25, along with preregistration for two future games: Godzilla Destruction and Godzilla Battle Line. Gamers can download Run Godzilla from the App Store and the Google Play Store. Then, learn more about the upcoming titles by visiting the games’ Twitter accounts (@GZ_destruction and @Gz_battleline), where you can view exclusive content and receive special game-related gifts, such as a social media profile pic.

The mobile games all feature newly designed versions of Godzilla, who all still has his classic smash-and-destroy spirit. The new titles aim to expand on the Godzilla universe with even more destruction and mayhem. In Run Godzilla, players raise their own Kaiju in an idle game. The Kaiju become stronger over time until they venture off on their own with the objective to continue to raise stronger and stronger Kaiju. Godzilla Destruction lets players become the monster himself, bringing terror to the world and destroying cities along the way with the tap of their screen. Finally, Godzilla Battle Line has players assemble teams featuring popular monsters from past Godzilla series, then take on other players from around the world in intense, 3-minute battles.
