As the final season of Game of Thrones gets closer and closer (Less! than! a! week!), HBO has decided to crank up the nostalgia with a new video series called “The Cast Remembers.”
In these videos, the series’ cast members reflect on all eight seasons of the show, sharing their favorite moments on set, memories from their first days of shooting, and more. It’s all cut together with throwback footage that’ll give die-hard fans all the feels. (The Stark kids’ first day on set? They are BABIES).
HBO published the videos to the Game of Thrones YouTube channel all at once, including one 10-minute compilation and separate videos for 12 of the core cast members.
The videos are full of great behind-the-scenes tidbits and throwbacks, including Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) talking about falling off of a horse during her first day on set, Kit Harington’s advice for season one Jon Snow (“You know you’re thinking about going to the Night’s Watch? Take it from me: Don’t.”), and an adorable season-one interview with Maisie Williams (Arya Stark).
Here are all of the cast member videos that HBO shared. If you watch three per day, they can last you until Sunday’s premiere. Or you can binge-watch them all, which is 100% what I did.
