It may not be using high-flying robots to get there, but Bandai Namco is heading across the country with Gundams in tow!
Gundam is a brand beloved by collectors everywhere for its detailed model kits of mecha (giant robots). What started with anime has become a huge franchise of various series, collectibles, and more. Now, the brand is making its way to a city near you with the new Gundam Base Mobile USA Tour kicking off this month.

The tour features a Gundam Base Mobile contained in a truck and trailer cruising across the country. Once set up, it will offer guests experiences such as Gunpla workshops, exclusive model kits, and activities such as photo-ops and video games. Fans of the brand can also purchase additional model kits online.
The most recent Gundam anime offering, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, was a hit among fans across the globe. The series has inspired a full selection of Gunpla model kits and continues to show why Gundam is so popular with fans.
The Gundam Base Mobile USA Tour will kick off at the Las Vegas Grand Prix on Nov. 16 and finish at Fan Expo in New Orleans Jan. 5-7. Bandai Namco will also release more than 50 products on Premium Bandai Nov. 16.
