Join the Fremen with Hamilton’s New ‘Dune: Part Two’-Inspired Watches

While you might not be traveling through the unforgiving sands of Arrakis, you do need to know the time. With Hamilton Watch’s new Dune: Part Two-inspired wristwatches, you can check the time and feel like you’re part of the Fremen.   

Once fans see Dune: Part Two in theaters on March 1, they’ll notice the Fremen using a particular wrist device. Swiss watch company Hamilton and Dune Prop Master Doug Harlocker created the device for the film, but fans can also get in on the action: Hamilton is releasing two watches inspired by the Dune: Part Two prop.

The Ventura XXL Bright and Ventura Edge both have the iconic Ventura triangular shape, which also slightly mimics the unique shape of the wristpiece in the film, deemed as the ‘Desert Watch.’ Both limited-edition watches come in special packaging inspired by the film. The black circular case displays the watch, and the beige inside looks like the scenery on Arrakis. The inside of the container also features engravings from the film. 

The Ventura XXL Bright features a blue dial that will remind you of the Fremen people and their harsh, vibrant blue eyes. There’s a button on one side of the case that activates the glowing blue lines, replicating the exact design seen on the face of the Desert Watch from the film. The back of the case indicates that the watch is water resistant and a special edition. 

The Ventura Edge has a matte black PVD-coated case, and the digital display glows blue. The watch face has similar relief elements as the Fremen device in the film, so it’ll feel like you’re part of the native Arrakis group. You’ll notice designs from the Dune universe etched on the back, as well as text depicting the watch as water resistant and a special edition. 

Both watches are available for $2,500 each. The Ventura XXL Bright is limited to 3,000 pieces and only 2,000 Ventura Edge watches will be available, so be sure to grab them before they’re gone — this might be your terrible purpose.
