You never know what surprises await students who venture into the Forbidden Forest at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but now us muggles are getting a chance to find out for ourselves!

This fall, the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is heading to New York, following a successful run in the UK and plans for an initial U.S. location in Leesburg, Virginia.

The fan experience, which is designed for all ages, will open at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Westchester County (about 40 minutes north of New York City). Inspired by the magical, creature-filled forest featured in both the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series, the outdoor trail will be transformed using lights. The outdoor, walk-through experience will recreate iconic movie moments and give visitors a glance at Hippogriffs, centaurs, unicorns, Nifflers, and more. Visitors will also have a chance to practice casting spells.

At the end of the trail, fans can enjoy a themed village that offers food and drinks, exclusive products, and more.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience — created by Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment in partnership with Fever and Thinkwell — will open in New York on Oct. 22. It will be open daily from 5-11 p.m., and the full experience will take up to 90 minutes.

Fans can sign up for a ticket waitlist now, and tickets will go on sale on Aug. 18. Ticket prices will range from $36-75 for adults and $25–64 for kids, depending on the session date and time.
