Hasbro is taking to the court for its latest venture into the world of action figures! This fall, the company will relaunch the Starting Lineup sports collectibles brand, in partnership with Fanatics.
The previously-teased relaunch got some exciting updates today, as Hasbro revealed a partnership with the NBA for the first wave of figures in this new line of articulated, 6-inch-scale action figures. Each figure will also come with an exclusive, officially licensed Panini NBA trading card.
To reveal the Starting Lineup x NBA partnership, Hasbro released a teaser video that gives collectors a glimpse at the new collectibles.
There isn’t official word yet on which basketball stars will be part of the initial wave, but they will drop for preorders starting on September 22. The figures will be available from Hasbro Pulse and from sites in the Fanatics network, including fanatics.com and official league online stores.
