Hero Collector already offers an expansive universe of Star Trek ship models, but now its offerings are getting a bit more animated — literally!
Today the company revealed that its newest range of die-cast starships will be based on the series Star Trek: Lower Decks. This animated show follows the adventures of the U.S.S. Cerritos (aka the least important ship in Starfleet) and its crew.
The new collection will feature various ships seen in Lower Decks, each hand-painted and accompanied by a magazine full of behind-the-scenes info and interviews. The first style in this collection is a 9-inch replica of the U.S.S. Titan NCC-80102, the Luna-class vessel commanded by Captain William Riker and his wife, Counselor Deanna Troi, that made its first on-screen appearance in Lower Decks.
Additional Lower Decks ships will join the collection soon, including the U.S.S. Vancouver, along with new collectibles based on the show. Fans can also preorder the previously announced U.S.S. Cerritos NCC-75567 XL Edition model. Fans can find these models — and Hero Collector’s full fleet of Star Trek collectibles — at the Hero Collector site.
