In 1982, Disney took fans on a fully computerized, high-stakes adventure in the sci-fi epic TRON. This year, the Oscar-nominated film celebrates its 40th anniversary, and to properly honor the franchise, collectibles manufacturer Hero Collector is venturing back to the Grid with a new die-cast collectible.
Hero Collector’s Tron: Light Cycle Collection offers fans of the franchise their very own light cycle! Featured in the movie as a digitized motorcycle, the light cycle is fast, agile, and is capable of leaving a solid ‘jetwall’ in its path — which, as all fans know, is a major factor in Kevin Flynn’s victory against the Master Control Program.
The Light Cycle 1st Generation figurine is screen-accurate and hand-painted, available in each of the colors seen in the film: blue, orange, and red. The vehicle is 8.6 inches long and stands attached to a base at 3.7 inches tall, making it the perfect addition to any collector’s shelf or programmer’s desk.
The Tron Light Cycle 1st Generation collectible is available to preorder now at shop.eaglemoss.com for $54.95. Fans of TRON and other sci-fi franchises can keep an eye out on Hero Collector’s website for additional upcoming reveals!
