House Pride Month is back, which means it’s time to grab your house robes, scarf, and tie so you can bring victory to your Sorting Hat assignment.
If you read the latest owl delivery of The Daily Prophet, you’ll know that during March, Harry Potter fans are treated to new Wizarding World-themed challenges, content, merchandise, and more. Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, Gryffindors, and Slytherins can celebrate all month long.
There are several ways to get involved, showcase your house pride, and help your fellow Hogwarts students win the House Championship. Ravenclaw won last year, but this month is a fresh, new start.
During House Pride Month, fans can visit wizardingworld.com to participate in Wizarding World-themed online activities. Each Monday in March, wizards and witches can play the weekly Quiz Championship. You can expect questions from the original books, movies (including the Fantasic Beasts franchise), Hogwarts Legacy, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and more. If it’s in the Wizarding World, it might be on that quiz.
Of course, no Wizard competition is complete without something to keep fans (or the Golden Trio) on their toes. Throughout the celebration, there will be a chance to earn bonus house points through flash surprises and challenges. You can also unlock special Portrait Maker items!
Muggles, Wizard, and Witches can also find a brand-new series of house-themed quiz videos on the Harry Potter YouTube channel throughout March. Fans will also have an exclusive look at a new Harry Potter unboxing video series on the channel. Use your muggle internet contraption to watch videos that provide an in-depth look at what goes into making three LEGO sets: the Sorting Hat, Hagrid’s Hut, and Hedwig.
If your trunk has been a little light recently, the House Pride Month celebration might solve your problem; there will be merch giveaways, competitions, and magical offers! There’s also limited-time offers on several house-related products at harrypottershop.com.
Fans are encouraged to share their Hogwarts House Pride-inspired content on social media — if you have a Remeberall, you won’t forget to tag @harrypotter and @wizardingworld and use #hogwartshousepride. You might just be featured on the official accounts!
If celebrating online or at home doesn’t satisfy your spell-bounding self, head to a House Pride Night at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. There are four special performances for each house, and audience members can dress up in their favorite attire, play trivia with members from the cast, and more.
While House Pride Month starts today, it’s not too late to discover what suits you best. Fans can sign up to the Harry Potter Fan Club and participate in the Official Hogwarts Sorting Ceremony online at wizardingworld.com.
Whether you’re a Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, or Gryffindor, this month is for you to showcase your pride (and maybe beat the other houses in the championships).
