Throughout last year, Hot Toys launched a variety of 1:6-scale figures inspired by Star Wars: Attack of the Clones to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the prequel film. To wrap up the anniversary year, Hot Toys revealed one final figure in this series last week — Mace Windu.
The new figure is sculpted in the likeness of Samuel L. Jackson, who portrayed the Jedi master in Episodes I-III, and comes with a light-up LED lightsaber, which features a swap-out blade with motion effect. The figure also includes a holocaster accessory, which features a hologram of Yoda. For fans of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, this figure also has forearm armor inspired by Mace Windu’s appearance in the show. Other accessories include swappable hands, a branded base, and Windu’s Jedi robe. The collectible stands more than 12.5 inches tall and features more than 30 points of articulation for ultimate possibility.
The figure also comes in notable, display-worthy packaging. The branded window box is clearly inspired by retro Star Wars toy packaging and features a biography of Mace Windu on the side. The front of the box also has a 20th-anniversary logo for the movie.
Fans can preorder the Mace Windu figure now from Sideshow at the link below, with an expected shipping date in early-to-mid 2024. Other 20th-anniversary Attack of the Clones figures include Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala.
