Free League Publishing is known for its iconic licensed role-playing games, but its next title is getting a super upgrade.
Invincible — Superhero Roleplaying is based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The game will launch as a Kickstarter campaign later this year with a Core Rulebook and Starter Set with illustrations from Walker and Ottley and graphic design by Johan Nohr. The game is designed by D&D Beyond founder Adam Bradford and Tomas Härenstam, Free League co-founder and lead designer on Alien RPG, Blade Runner RPG, and more.
“Invincible is my favorite comic series, and I’ve wanted to play in this universe for many years,” Bradford says. “The way the story unfolds in a sprawling saga over the course of 144 issues – without endless retconning – lends itself particularly well to tabletop roleplaying, and I can’t wait for fans to experience their own superhero stories with the game.”
