The social party game company that has found worldwide popularity among young people who love to laugh is set to release a new game this Thursday.
“Survey Scramble” from Jackbox Games offers a totally new concept compared to other titles, including Drawful, Tee K.O., Fibbage, and Quiplash. In the new offering, players will choose between four different modes, with the overall theme of guessing the answers to survey questions.
The game was made with real survey data culled from people all over the world. Every time the game is played, players feed the survey bank data when they type in an answer, giving the game an evergreen ability to keep up with trends and slang.
Survey Scramble is designed for 2-10 players, plus an option for additional audience members. Each game can host a staggering 10,000 people in total.
The new game was debuted at New York Comic Con (NYCC). The crowd watched a panel of stand-up comedians and late-night writers compete against each other. The hysterical audience got to participate with the “audience member” feature and vote on the panel’s witty answers.
The game is filled with humor, quick wit, and unexpected prompts. All ages will enjoy this, as long as they are up for a game that is silly yet challenging in an approachable way.
Jackbox games function with one player as the host, who presents the game on a computer screen, while the other players join for free on Jackbox.TV on a phone or computer using a provided code. Players follow along with instructions displayed on the host’s computer screen. The instructions are user-friendly and easy to understand. If possible, the host’s computer screen should be cast onto a television so everyone can see the game!
“Survey Scramble” will be available for download on Mac, Windows, or SteamOS+Linux. It can be purchased on jackboxgames.com.
