If you’ve ever dreamed about hearing ‘Magic Dance’ (or any other powerful ’80s song from Labyrinth) live, now is your chance! A new live concert experience, Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert, combines the iconic film and live music for fans of all ages.
During the live concert experience, the movie will play on a large HD cinema screen while a live band performs the soundtrack in sync. Just you, David Bowie as the Goblin King and his original vocals, several puppets from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and incredible musicians in one room.
The tour is from Sept. 24-Oct. 27 and stops in 30 cities across several states, including Florida, Montana, Georgia, New York, and Ohio. If you attend the first show in Morgantown, West Virginia, you can celebrate Jim Henson’s birthday!
You can find tickets at labyrinthconcert.com — the general sale begins tomorrow, June 21, at 10:00 a.m. (in the venue’s time zone) but you might qualify now for certain ongoing presales! Ticket prices vary depending on the date and seat location, but you can expect tickets to start at around $32.
