Dear casting directors, Jon Hamm is the Batman we deserve. Don’t take this away from us.
In an interview with Graham Bensinger for his series In Depth, Hamm said he’s heard the whispers of the Internet encouraging him to don the cape, but he’s never been offered the role. “I think the Internet wants what it wants,” Hamm said. “But, I mean, a lot of people have to sign off on that, obviously not just the Internet.”
But we won’t lose faith just yet. “I’d probably fit the suit,” Hamm said. “I’d have to work out a lot, which I don’t love.” Don’t worry Jonny, we think you’d make a perfect Batman just the way you are.
