Freebies, dinosaurs, collectibles, slime — this news has it all!
Today, ToyMonster revealed plans for a U.S. launch of its Jurassic World Captivz Clash Edition line. These dinosaur-egg-shaped collectibles are set to hit store shelves in November and each comes with a detailed dinosaur figure like the one pictured above. Collectors will also discover slime, a battle token, and a battle guide inside. You can choose to simply display your dino figures, or use the included instructions to battle with a fellow Jurassic Park lover.
This launch is the second Captivz range from ToyMonster, following a Camp Cretaceous-themed collection that dropped this summer. This new line features 30 fan-favorite species from across the Jurassic World franchise, all featuring battle wounds from epic “clash” moments from the movies. There are also six rare dinosaurs featuring metallic finishes.
These eggs will be available for $4.99 each at Walmart, 5 Below, and Meijer in late November, but some fans will get an even earlier opportunity to collect these dinos. ToyMonster has partnered with Jurassic World fan site Jurassic Outpost to host two special promotions. First is the Mega Egg Presale, which will launch on Oct. 8. Fans can get early access to the Jurassic World Captivz: Mega Egg, which costs $20 and comes with three dinosaurs, two eggs, a pull-back car, a game playmat, a backpack clip, and more. The presale will feature a limited quantity of these eggs, which will be available widely at a later date.
Next is the Fans First Dino Stampede, which gives fans a chance to get a freebie. The first 250 fans who register at Jurassic Outpost starting at 9 a.m. PT on Nov. 1 will get one free Captivz Clash Edition egg.
