The Wizarding World has been hit with the Reducio charm.
The LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products will drop six new Harry Potter-themed sets this summer, incorporating the monstrous magical world into an easy-to-build kingdom.
Fans can recreate their favorite scenes from the Harry Potter films with miniaturized characters. Muggles can discover the Room of Requirement ($19.99) for some secretive Dumbledore’s Army training with Harry, Hermione, and Luna mini-figures. Then, head over to the Astronomy Tower ($99.99) to hang out with Slughorn, dig up a mandrake, or chill in the Ravenclaw common room. In addition to the previous three figures from the last set, this one also comes with Draco, Neville, Ron, Lavender Brown, and Slughorn.
For those looking for a more daring adventure, might I suggest heading into the Forbidden Forest ($29.99) with Harry and Hermione? Introduce the lovely, LEGO-fied Professor Umbridge to her new best friend — a 5-inch tall, buildable Grawp. If punishing terrifying teachers isn’t your speed, maybe punishing terrifying Godparents is. Head to 4 Privet Drive ($69.99) to break out Harry from his cupboard under the stairs. The set includes Ron, the Dursleys, Harry, and Dobby thrown in for good measure. It boasts a 4-inch flying car to escape the mundane and journey into a fantastic time.
Finally, simply because LEGO would like to make me cry on a Tuesday morning, fans can relive the Attack on the Burrow ($99.99) or build a magnificent Hedwig ($39.99). The Attack on the Burrow is the biggest set with 1,047 pieces and measures more than 13 inches tall. It’s designed with the colorful Weasley family in mind and comes with Ron, Harry, Ginny, Arthur, Molly, Tonks (I’m not crying — you are), Bellatrix LeStrange, and Fenrir Greyback. The set will be exclusive to Target in the U.S. For fans to remember the greatest owl of all-time, the Hedwig LEGO set (see it at the top) has a moveable wingspan of more than 13 inches and can be built to carry Harry’s (or maybe your) Hogwarts letter. It will only be sold at Barnes and Noble.
Presales for the magical sets start on April 30 on LEGO’s website and select retailers. Fans can officially recreate their very own Wizarding World when the LEGOs go on sale on August 1.
