The LEGO Group is charting a course for anime-zing adventures to the Grand Line!
In collaboration with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, the LEGO Group is dropping new building sets based on the manga-inspired Netflix series One Piece. As the first line of LEGO sets inspired by an anime, fans can pirate, pillage, and piece together the beloved series like never before. The collection will hit the deck later this year, coinciding with the series’ second season.
While specific sets have yet to be revealed, the LEGO Group plans to make waves with its first venture into East Blue. The new collection promises to set sail with multiple kits of varying difficulty and brick counts, each re-creating iconic scenes and characters from the live-action adaptation. From LEGO mini-figures of Luffy and his crew to tales from the Grand Line, these sets are the perfect way for pirates to treasure and display their favorite series.
Although the new One Piece sets are inspired by Netflix’s live-action series, the original manga’s creator Eiichiro Oda took to X, overjoyed at the collaboration. He posted:
The One Piece LEGO sets are expected to hit shelves ahead of One Piece Season 2 on Netflix later this year. Until then, updates and announcements about the collection will be available at Lego.com/One-piece.
