Light some candles and get to building!
LEGO and Disney have teamed up for a new set that’s sure to bring nostalgia to ‘90s kids. Based on the 1993 movie Hocus Pocus, the Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage set has everything a fan needs to reenact their favorite scenes from this Halloween classic.
The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage set includes six new minifigures — The three sisters make their LEGO debut, along with Max, Danni, and Allison. The 2,316-piece set can create the Sanderson Sisters’ home, or you can transform it into the Sanderson Witch Museum by adding just a few included accessories.
The set was designed by 26-year-old Belgian Amber Veyt, a fan of both LEGO and the original movie. The design got its start on the LEGO Ideas platform, a space where fans can post their LEGO designs and hope to see them made into a real set. With more than 10,000 votes, this Hocus Pocus set was a popular choice.
The new set will be released on July 1 to LEGO VIPs and on July 4 to the public, so grab your broomstick and fly to your nearest LEGO shop, or just bookmark the LEGO store page and make sure to check back this July.
