Star Wars fans, get ready to use the force and assemble your favorite characters and scenes in movie magic style this spring.
LEGO is releasing three new Star Wars Diorama building sets based on classic scenes and characters from Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. First, prepare to get hands-on with the 665-piece Trench Run Diorama, inspired by the scene in A New Hope when Darth Vader pursues Luke Skywalker as Skywalker fights to destroy the Death Star for the Rebellion.
Next up is the 802-piece Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama building set. Fans can recreate the iconic A New Hope scene in which Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia Organa are stranded after freeing the princess from Detention Block AA-23. Authentic details like moving walls, a dianoga’s head, and a slew of minifigures make this set a must-have.
Tired of the drama and need some balance? Escape into Master Yoda’s hut in the swamps of Dagobah in the third diorama, which recreates details from Luke’s training in The Empire Strikes Back. Complete with minifigures of Yoda, R2-D2, and Luke Skywalker, the 1000-piece LEGO Star Wars Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama building set is ideal for feeling the Force from the comfort of your home.
These new models are all available to preorder starting today, March 24, from lego.com. They will officially be available in retailers and on the LEGO website on April 26 — just in time for May 4! The Death Star Trash Compactor set will be a Walmart and LEGO Stores exclusive upon release.
