“Luke, I am your Landspeeder.”
The latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars and Ultimate Collector Series faithfully recreates Luke Skywalker’s X-34 Landspeeder from Star Wars: A New Hope. In the film, Luke uses the vehicle to try and locate R2-D2 in the harsh deserts of Tatooine, although he sells it later to pay for his transport to Alderaan.

The LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker Landspeeder building set is composed of 1,890 pieces and measures 49 centimeters in length when completed. Just like in the film, Luke’s Landspeeder features a two-seater cockpit with a curved windscreen and an uncovered turbine engine. The set also includes an exclusive C-3PO minifigure with 2K molded legs and a side print. But Luke’s Landspeeder wouldn’t be complete without the Jedi himself: The set comes with a Luke minifigure and his matching lightsaber.
The Landspeeder joins a variety of vehicle building sets in the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series, including the Millennium Falcon, the Republic Gunship, the A-Wing, and the recently released AT-AT.
The LEGO Star Wars Landspeeder set is available to purchase from the LEGO website for $199.99 beginning on May 4 (May the fourth be with you!). However, LEGO VIPs can purchase the set even earlier beginning on May 1.
