The bad news for members of the Fast Family is that the release of F9 is still pushed back a full year (thanks, COVID-19!). But the good news is that you can now build an iconic ride from The Fast Saga while you’re riding out the quarantine.
LEGO Group and Universal Brand Development dropped the curtain on the first LEGO set to be created under a recently inked partnership deal to bring vehicles from The Fast & The Furious into the construction category. The LEGO Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger is a 1,077-piece replica of the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T piloted by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) in the films.

“The high-octane action of the Fast & Furious franchise has captured the hearts and imaginations of petrol-heads the world over,” says Samuel Tacchi, designer of the set. “We want to inspire people of all ages to explore their creativity through building whatever their passion is, and we know fans of LEGO Technic and the blockbuster franchise love cool cars and adrenaline-fuelled fun. Brought together by that same passion, we worked really closely with the Universal team to bring Dom’s Dodge Charger to life in the most minute detail to inspire Fast & Furious fans and LEGO Technic builders around the world.”
The 1:13-scale vehicle is designed for builders ages 10 and up and features details, such as the moving pistons on the V8 engine, double wishbone suspension, nitro bottles, a fire extinguisher, and a wheelie bar that doubles as a display stand to show Dom’s ride in its famous “wheels up” position.
The set is available for preorder now and will be available for purchase beginning on April 27.
