Journey Towards Middle-earth with New LOTR RPG Starter Sets

Get ready to embark on another adventure in Middle-earth. Free League Publishing is launching two new The Lord of the Rings tabletop sets: The One Ring Starter Set — Over Hill and Under Hill 5E, and The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Starter Set.

These sets combine one of the most iconic fantasy stories with the world of tabletop gaming. Both sets include a list of condensed rules, a large full-color map, highly detailed stand-up cardboard figures, five pre-generated and illustrated player heroes, and special dice. In The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Starter Set, players will start off enjoying a cozy evening at the inn in Bree. Then, things take a twist when a hunter joins your table and tells you about a dark threat that is brooding over the North Downs. You will set out on bone-chilling adventures and see if you have what it takes to get to the end. 

The One Ring Starter Set — Over Hill and Under Hill 5E is based on the second edition of The One Ring roleplaying game and adapts the story using the rules of 5E. Similar to the other set, players will go on the adventure as members of the Company and see how far they can go against the dark force. Both sets will have players dive deep into the story and are beginner-friendly, allowing everyone to get in on the exciting adventure.
