Back on Feb. 15, 1995, Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa joined their evil families by tying the knot during the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers season-two episode “The Wedding, Part 3.” Now, almost exactly 25 years later, Power Rangers fans can celebrate Valentine’s Day by preordering a set of Hasbro Lightning Collection figures honoring the milestone anniversary of a wickedly iconic wedding.
The new Lightning Collection 6-inch figure set depicts both characters in their wedding outfits, with special silver embellishments to commemorate the anniversary. Each figure comes with accessories, and the set includes a silver wedding cake, too.
Fans can preorder the pair now from GameStop for $49.99, and the figures are expected to ship in August.
To top it off, the official Power Rangers YouTube channel released a ’90s-style commercial for the figures, complete with a voiceover and peppered with footage from the original episode. Enjoy the nostalgia, and get ready to add the best worst couple in Power Rangers history to your collection.
