It’s almost spooky season (well, sort of), and you know what that means! The Marvel Halloween Comic Book Extravaganza is back, baby! 

Everyone’s favorite season of the year is only four months away and we already have an event to look forward to. On October 29, local participating comic book shops will celebrate Halloween the Marvel way. This popular retailer event will return to with four new, spooktacular comics starring some of Marvel Comics’ hottest characters and storylines. 

First, join Spidey in “The Amazing Spider-Man No. 88,” which introduces the Queen Goblin, the latest addition to Spider-Man’s iconic rogues gallery. Pick up “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur No. 1 (soon to be an animated Disney Channel show) to meet Lunella Lafayette, the preteen super genius who goes by the name of Moon Girl. 

“Strange Academy No. 3” will also be available and opens the doors to the Marvel Universe’s first school for sorcerers. Fans can read as Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, Magik, and other favorite Marvel mages establish an academy for the mystic arts. And lastly, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra No. 1″ features the first Star Wars character created for comics in their own solo series!

Along with these four comics, Marvel fans can also pick up a new collection of Spidey and his Amazing Friends comics for the young super-fans in their lives.
