In case you missed it, last October Mattel launched an objectively epic R/C Batmobile on its Mattel Creations platform that meticulously recreated the vehicle featured in Warner Bros. upcoming The Batman movie. That collectible Batmobile came with a $500 price tag and has since sold out, but now Mattel is bringing another R/C Batmobile to fans, complete with a lower price point.
The new, 1:10-scale vehicle is officially called the Hot Wheels R/C The Batman The Original Batmobile. The replica comes with a full-function remote control and features suspension and rear-wheel drive for tougher terrains. It also has working headlights, a rear-jet exhaust glow, and space to seat most 7-inch action figures. It has a rechargeable battery that offers about 20 minutes of run time, can reach speeds up to 10 mph, and measures about 19.5 inches long.
This collectible R/C costs $100 and will be available to preorder from Mattel Creations starting tomorrow, Feb. 24, at 9 a.m. PT (noon ET).
