Mattel Creations partnered with the NFL for exclusive collectibles to celebrate Super Bowl LIX and the participating teams.
The collection features Mattel Barbie dolls, Fisher-Price Little People, and UNO cards themed around the two competing teams. However, there’s a twist: only the winning team’s products will ever be shipped. Mattel will cancel orders for the losing team’s items, making it feel a bit like sports betting — but with toys. Yes, buyers of the losing team’s toys will get their money back.
The collection includes two versions of each collectible, one for the Kansas City Chiefs and another for the Philadelphia Eagles. Barbies are dressed in their respective jerseys and hold foam fingers, ready to cheer for their teams. The Little People set depict star players on each team, and the UNO deck features players on the cards along with one collectible foil card in each pack. Additionally, a special Super Bowl Touchdown rule is included to add a twist to the classic game of UNO.
All three collectible items for both teams are available for pre-order now at lets.go.mattel/superbowllix. The winning team’s products will ship in the fall, allowing fans to relive the excitement of the Super Bowl championship win all over again.
