Top Gun 2

If Tom Cruise’s surprise trailer reveal at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) wasn’t enough to get you hyped for next summer’s Top Gun: Maverick, then Mattel is here for you. The toy company is officially set to produce toys and games for the Top Gun franchise, including both the original movie and the sequel.

Mattel plans to sell product across a variety of categories, including die-cast vehicles and planes, games, play sets, and more. According to Janet Hsu, Mattel’s chief franchise management officer, the products will cater to both children and adult fans.

The product line is expected to launch next summer ahead of Top Gun: Maverick‘s U.S. premiere in June.
