Actor Matthew Perry’s new apparel collection has something for every transponster in your life, with offerings inspired by the classic sarcasm of his iconic Friends character, Chandler Bing,
Perry released the collection of T-shirts, hoodies, a dog bandanna, and a baby onesie last Friday through represent.com. Perry wears one of the hoodies — which features the phrase “Could I Be More Me?” written in the Friends logo style — in the main picture on the site. He sits alongside the words, “Could this be any more of a Matthew Perry Merch Site?”
The answer, of course, is no. While the collection doesn’t actually feature any of Chandler’s classic one-liners, it does feature his sarcastic essence. One design, available on either a T-shirt or a hoodie (pictured above, right) draws inspiration from the episode “The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath.” It says “Could I have had a longer day?” below an image of Perry soaking.
A white T-shirt and black hoodie both display another design (pictured above, left) that gives the definition of sarcasm: Matthew Perry circa 1994. It features an image of Perry alongside the actual definition of the word.
The final T-shirt design features a phrase that we know would have been an actual Friends quote if the show had taken place in our mid-pandemic world. The white words, “Could I be any more vaccinated?” sit on a black T-shirt (pictured top, right).
Finally, for the teeny-tiny and four-legged stars of your life, the collection offers an infant onesie and a doggie bandana. The onesie says “I’ll talk to you about it later” and the bandana asks “Could I be any more of a dog?”
