Last week, McDonald’s announced that it was transporting fans to the world of McDonaldland with the new McDonaldland meal. Now, you can see McDonaldland for yourself with this new VR experience.
McDonaldland VR launches on Aug. 12, the same day as the meal. While you are in McDonaldland, you can meet iconic McDonald’s characters including Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, and more; explore themed worlds like the Apple Pie Tree Forest, the Hamburger Patch, and Filet-O-Fish Lake; and play interactive games.

These mini games include the Mt. McDonaldland Shake Challenge, where players collect shake ingredients from an erupting volcano, and the Golden Arches Obstacle Course, where players navigate condiment geysers and other McDonald’s-themed challenges. As you complete quests, you can unlock exclusive in-game wearables, including the Mayor McCheese Hat, the Burger Buddy Backpack, and Ronald McDonald’s Guitar.
