As anticipation builds for A Minecraft Movie to hit theaters this April, McDonald’s is crafting a new meal deal that will have all gamers AFK.
Starting April 1, fans can create their own craving cure with A Minecraft Movie Meal and Happy Meal at McDonald’s restaurants worldwide. These pixel-perfect bites bring the magic of the open-world video game off the screen and onto the dining table. With limited-edition collectibles and in-game rewards, fans would be a blockhead not to taste them!
The adult meal deal includes either a Big Mac or 10 Chicken McNuggets with fries, a drink, and a collectible Minecraft toy. Fans can level up their lunch with the limited-edition Nether Flame Sauce. Inspired by the eternal fires of The Nether, this sauce brings the heat with roasted red pepper, cayenne, and garlic.
A Minecraft Movie Meal stars one of six figures that give McDonald’s treats an 8-bit upgrade, like a Grimace Egg, a Big Mac Crystal, or a Zombie Hamburglar. Each collectible includes an exclusive code that unlocks a matching skin in-game at the Minecraft Marketplace. Steve has 36 inventory slots, so that’s a lot of room for McDonald’s gear!
Tech-savvy fans get an extra perk! If they order their A Minecraft Movie Meal through the McDonald’s App, players will receive another code to redeem a McDonald’s Add-On Pack with additional McDonald’s x Minecraft swag like McDonaldland characters, tools, and builds.

Little gamers can join the action with A Minecraft Movie Happy Meal. Inside the charming Minecraft-themed box, kids will find their favorite McDonald’s eats, one of 12 Minecraft or Block World toys, and a scannable code to unlock a kid-friendly digital game inspired by the film at www.happymeal.com!
The Minecraft meals and collectibles will be available at your local McDonald’s on April 1, so fans can stock up their inventory before the film premieres on April 4.
