Thankfully, McDonald’s can help you multi-task with their new Happy Meal collab with The Pokémon Co. Each Happy Meal box will include one of four dragon Pokémon designs: Fire/Flying type Charizard (I know, but it gets its Dragon typing with its Mega Evolutions, so it counts); Dragon/Flying type Dragonite, Dragon/Dark type Roaring Moon, and the legendary Rayquaza. If the boxes themselves weren’t cool enough, each meal also comes with a booster pack, a poster, and a sticker sheet.
For trainers who have the Pokémon TCG Pocket app, there are even more goodies in store for you with this meal. If you order the Happy Meal through the McDonald’s app, you’ll automatically unlock a one-time in-game bonus for 24 pack hourglasses and 12 wonder hourglasses, so you can get to the fun part of opening card packs sooner, as well as picking a random digital card from the app’s Wonder Pick feature.
For Pokémon GO fans, don’t feel left out: you can find Pokéstops at participating McDonald’s locations, perfect for when you need a spot to camp for Community Days since you can drop a lure and hunt shinies while you eat.
The Dragon-themed Happy Meals are available now at participating McDonald’s locations and available for pre-order on the McDonald’s app, so be sure to catch yours before they “fly” off the shelves!
