Just days after kicking off its Gold Label Collection Series, McFarlane Toys is going platinum!
The collectibles company just released details on its new chase program, McFarlane Platinum Edition. While the Gold Label figures seem to be available online with a limited number of units, the Platinum figures — which all feature rare paint variations — will be much harder to find and only in stores.
This program is kicking off with an Arkham Asylum Joker Bronze Edition, pictured above. There are only 3,000 of these figures being produced worldwide, and they have been randomly packed into DC Multiverse cases shipping to retailers nationwide.
Starting next year, all chase figures in the McFarlane Platinum Edition program will come in limited-edition packaging with a special label printed in foil.
This bronze Joker isn’t the only Platinum Edition figure launching this year, so be sure to watch the McFarlane Toys official social channels and mcfarlane.com for additional releases.
