Collectibles manufacturer Mighty Jaxx is getting in on the metaverse action for a free-to-play experience in partnership with Sideshow.
Starting tomorrow, Oct. 28, fans can check out “Spooky Season,” a virtual experience featuring Mighty Jaxx’s original Creepy Cuties characters and Sideshow’s Court of the Dead characters. Within the experience, attendees will be greeted by CHXMP, a metaverse character who will host Spooky Season and remain in the Mighty Labs, which is the starting point for all players entering Mighty Jaxx’s MightyVerse.
Spooky Season will offer various interactive experiences, including puzzles, in-game quests, and an area where fans can dance with the Court of the Dead character Death. This Halloween activation will run until Nov. 11 on the metaverse platform The Sandbox. It will serve as a preview/trial run for the full MightyVerse experience, which is set to launch in December.
To enjoy Spooky Season, collectors need to download The Sandbox Game Maker and access the game through the Featured Experiences gallery.
Collectors can also purchase physical Court of the Dead collectibles from Sideshow and the Creepy Cuties blind-box figures from Mighty Jaxx.
