Assemble your group of Goonies and get ready to channel young Josh Brolin energy because fans of the movie can finally go on an adventure to find One-Eyed Willy’s hidden treasure.
Usaopoly (The Op) is teaming up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring us Monopoly: The Goonies, which is a nostalgic mashup of the classic board game Monopoly and the 1985 cult-classic film The Goonies.
Players will vie for control of One-Eyed Willie’s Cabin, the Pirate Ship Cavern, Sloth’s Room, the Pit of Spikes, and 18 other memorable locations as they try to own it all and bankrupt their opponents. The six collectible movers include a gold doubloon, the statue of David, skull and crossbones, and more.
“Goonies never say die! That’s why we’re so excited to bring back all the favorite moments of the beloved classic as fans buy, sell, and trade iconic properties throughout Goon Docks and the small town of Astoria, Oregon,” says Maggie Matthews, The Op’s senior vice president of licensing.
Monopoly: The Goonies will be available in specialty stores this spring for $39.99.
