Retro gaming is hot, and this past holiday season, Arcade1Up was on fire! Fans of the 3/4-scale retro gaming machines have been eagerly awaiting confirmation of the next wave, and at CES in Las Vegas, Tastemakers revealed the first details on what’s coming next. As expected, new licenses and titles have been secured, with five new cabinets announced—the first of which will arrive at retail as early as February. Among the highlights are the Space Invaders 40th Anniversary cabinet and one of last year’s worst-kept secrets, Mortal Kombat!

New Retro Video Game Cabinets for 2019 include:

  • Final Fight Cabinet (Feb): Final Fight, 1944, Ghosts ‘N Goblins, Strider
  • Space Invaders Cabinet (Feb): Space Invaders Color, Space Invaders Black and White
  • Golden Tee Cabinet (June): GT Classic ’01, Golden Tee ‘2k, Golden Tee ’99, Golden Tee ’98
  • Mortal Kombat Cabinet (Sept): Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, Mortal Kombat 3
  • Karate Champ Cabinet (Sept): Karate Champ, Bad Dudes, Burger Time, Caveman Ninja
From Tastemakers, LLC comes the Arcade1Up Space Invaders 40th Anniversary cabinet.

Additionally, new products such as Wall-cades and Counter-cades will offer retro gaming enthusiasts some new ways to play in locations where space is at a premium.

Not enough gaming goodness for you? Even more titles for release in the fall will be announced at the annual E3 Expo in June.
