Who doesn’t like sci-fi adventures, intergalactic worlds, and action-fighting robots? The Nacelle Co. and Seven Bucks Productions ride the nostalgic waves of ’80s and ’90s cartoons with RoboForce: The Animated Series.
Only ‘80s kids will remember this. The animated series takes inspiration from your favorite 1984 Robo Force action figures. These robots will continue to defend their intergalactic world with six 30-minute episodes, premiering exclusively on Tubi this April.
Set in 2089 Detroit, Soraya Aviram’s RoboForce becomes obsolete after her rival, Silas Duke, reveals his line of Utopia Aegis 101 bots. When Duke’s robots turn on humanity, it’s up to RoboForce to step in and protect the world.
RoboForce: The Animated Series is written by Gavin Hignight, best known for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), Transformers Cyberverse, and Star Wars: Resistance. Volk-Weiss also serves as an executive producer alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Brian Gewirtz (Seven Bucks), as well as Cisco Henson, Matt Kravitsky, and Michael Goodman (Nacelle).
