Over at New York Comic Con (NYCC), Scholastic ordered a gigantic banner along the Javits Convention Center walls to reveal the title and the book cover for the upcoming prequel to the Hunger Games series.
Suzanne Collins‘ new novel will be titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and takes place years before Katniss ever entered the Cornucopia. According to Scholastic, this new book will revisit the world of Panem 64 years before the first book, beginning with the morning of the reaping of the 10th Hunger Games.
The book will be available next May 19, and preorders are open now.
