the boys

Who you gonna call? Sony!

This week at the Brand Licensing Europe trade show, Sony Pictures announced tons of new merchandising partnerships across its TV and movie properties, from Ghostbusters to Outlander.

Here’s a rundown of all of the new announcements (aka all the cool fandom products that will be hitting shelves from now through next year).

Ghostbusters

For the new Ghostbusters movie, we already knew about the line of toys and collectibles coming next year from Hasbro. There will also be partners for accessories, apparel, and more (to be announced).

Classic Ghostbusters fans have plenty to look forward to, too, with Ghostbuster-inspired fashion collections on the way from Cotton-On, Cakeworthy, Roller Rabbit, and Naked & Famous Denim. Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is also on the way, launching on Oct. 4 with new HD graphics for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

The Ghostbusters/Transformers crossovers will also continue, with a five-issue crossover comic series from IDW Publishing.

Cobra Kai

Get your hands on apparel, accessories, collectibles, costumes, and more, inspired by the world of Cobra Kai. Check out the official Cobra Kai online store for merch from partners, including Funko, NECA, and Surreal Entertainment. IDW Publishing also has Cobra Kai comics on the way!

The Boys

There aren’t many details for this one yet, other than the fact that The Boys merch is on the way (thank goodness). This includes apparel, accessories, costumes, collectibles, and interactive products.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

El Camino is set to hit theaters and Netflix on Oct. 11. To get fans excited, there’s merch coming to Spencers, Transworld, and the official Breaking Bad online store.

Rust Belt Brewing will also launch a Schraderbräu beer, named after Hank Schrader’s homebrew. It will be available at Craftshack.com. K-Swiss will release limited-edition shoes inspired by Breaking Bad, in collaboration with Foot Locker and its Project Greenhouse app. Last but not least, USAopoly will release Breaking Bad-themed Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit games next year.

Vivo

This animated musical movie — with original songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda — hits theaters next November. Jazwares is set to produce toys based on the movie, while companies including Franco and Trends will also produce Vivo-inspired products. There will be books (of the children’s and the coffee table varieties) from Simon & Schuster, Abrams, and Bendon.

Outlander

Heading into its fifth season, this time-traveling romance show has merch available from more than 40 different brands, including Torrid, Abby Shot, fine-jeweler Bixler’s, Scottish Highland wear company the Celtic Croft, Silver Screen Bottling Company, and Random House.

Ahead of the new season, fans should keep their eyes on the official Outlander online store, which is getting a full revamp.
