Following the unprecedented convention year that was 2020, with nearly all of the biggest U.S. fan events either canceled or completely virtual for the first time, what is in store for 2021? WIZARD WORLD CONVENTIONS: VARIED
Wizard World New Orleans: Canceled for 2021 — Will take place Jan. 7-9, 2022
Wizard World Philadelphia: Postponed from Jan 15-17 to Nov. 12-14
Wizard World Portland: Canceled for 2021 — Will take place Jan 28-30, 2022
Fans who purchased general admission or VIP tickets for the original dates may use those for the rescheduled dates.
Wizard World Cleveland: Scheduled for Feb. 26-28 UPDATE: This event was canceled. A new date for next year will be announced.
Wizard World St. Louis: Scheduled for March 12-14 UPDATE: This event was canceled. It will now take place from May 6-8, 2022.
Wizard World Chicago: Scheduled for August 26-29, 2021 UPDATE: This event was postponed to Oct. 15-17, 2021. This marks Wizard World’s return to live events.

SCHEDULED FOR JULY 22-25ONLINE/POSTPONED- SDCC was once again postponed for a year, replaced by another ComicCon@Home virtual event from July 23-25. However, there are plans for a smaller, three-day, in-person event (called Comic-Con Special Edition) from Nov. 26-28.
