Adidas is set to unleash the nostalgia beast with the release of its latest pop culture collection, which is inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh!

This drop will include two Adi2000 sneakers and two Adilette slide sandals. The shoes will feature two of the most legendary and powerful characters in the media franchise: the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the Dark Magician. On top of the vibrant anime artwork, each pair comes with its own metal hang tag, which is a piece of the Exodia The Forbidden One.

For those unfamiliar with Adidas’ specific styles, the Adi2000 is a skate-inspired shoe with suede, mesh, and leather. Adilettes slip-on open-toe sandals go for a more casual approach, featuring a rubber sole with inner and outer lining — they’re perfect for pairing with athleisure or loungewear.

One pair of the white Adi2000s in this collection is adorned with art of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon on each side and features teal on the sole and heel and gray laces, complementing the icy blue color of the animal. The Dark Magician pair of Adi2000s depicts the character in a similar illustration style, but with light purple detailing on the sole, heel, and laces.

In contrast, the Adilette designs are much darker, with black soles and tops. Each sandal features a different design on the top loop: Yami Yugi and the Dark Magician appear on one pair, while Seto Kaiba and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon appear on the other. The lining of each sandal offers a pop of color, in bright blue or electric purple.
